Don't forget there's only 2 weeks left in our Gastroscope Promotion -now only £180- a huge saving of over £80 per horse! Unfortunately gastric ulcers are common in horses, causing poor performance and weight loss, as well as other detrimental vices such as windsucking and crib-biting. Our in-house medicine expert Anna Hollis will guide you through the process of Gastroscopy and advise how best to get your horse back in tip top condition!

Muscle injuries may occur if the horse is inadequately prepared for the task he is asked to undertake. It is essential to injury prevention that the correct level of training is undertaken to allow muscles to develop and grow. Exercise must be increased incrementally, allowing time within the program for rest, growth and repair. Nutrition is also an important factor in maintaining the healthy horse. If his diet is lacking or imbalanced there may be insufficient nutrient levels to facilitate healthy muscle development.
